Hill-Kelly Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Marc Klaas of the non-profit Klaas Kids Foundation will host a Klaas Kids Print-A-Thon to promote and educate families about child safety and fingerprint and photograph children at no cost. Using computerized systems originally designed for a federal law enforcement agency, each child will receive digitized fingerprints, an updated photograph, pro-active child safety tips, a 12-point plan on what to do if your child disappears, and a DNA Collection Kit developed by the California DNA Laboratory.
Klaas Kids representatives will be available to answer questions about child safety and will facilitate the complimentary fingerprinting and photographing. A bio-document will be given to parents for safekeeping and DNA kits will be distributed to all participants.

Child Safety is one of our community’s most important issues, but it is one we tend to take for granted until a tragedy happens.
The Klaas Kids Foundation was created following the 1993 kidnap and murder of 12-year-old Polly Klaas. Klaas Kids Foundation child safety programs are designed to promote awareness and education for parents and children in an effort to protect children against violence. Since 1994, Print-A-Thon events have fingerprinted and photographed more than 1,000,000 children at no cost to families and without data basing children’s personal and private information.
As a service to the community Hill-Kelly Dodge Chrysler Jeep is underwriting this program so that there is no charge to families. “We are honored to be entering our 11th year of partnership with The Klaas Kids Foundation. Their mission and purpose are unlike any other and we are proud of the hard work the foundation does. We can’t wait to have the community out to enjoy this fun and informative day.”
The protection of our children in Pensacola is of the utmost importance to us as well as all Florida families. Our dealership wanted nothing more than to assist in making sure that the upcoming youth thrives while living under the guidance of safety and wellness in Gulf Breeze and Navarre, FL, and that’s why we linked up with the Klaaas Kids Foundation at Blue Wahoos Stadium for the Print-A-Thon.
The Print-A-Thon Event at Blue Wahoo’s Stadium
The Print-A-Thon our dealership sponsors is a fantastic get-together of children and their families. We have live music, games, art, and a KlaasKids representative speaks about the importance of child safety to parents. Our dealership wishes to help in any way possible by informing our community about the potential dangers that are out there and having a plan of action in the case of an emergency is essential to the well-being of our children in Pace and Milton.
